Boy, there is a lot I could comment on. Beginning to end. That book, New Jerusalem, is intense to listen to. Very personal thoughts bubbling up…

I belly-laughed about the coat & knitted cap !thing. You can be SO funny! 😁 Anyway.

Patti, I agree that the remains of the tower should have been saved. Should have been the lasting memorial. When I saw the image (just about everywhere at that time), and each time thereafter, I shuddered. But I knew that its symbol was meant to never be lost. Thank you for sharing you words from that time in that book.

Thank you for sharing this remarkable poem. I need poetry more and more , it helps quiet and center my mind, in this harrowing world.

And the Poor Things swag is very cool.

I remember seeing those silkscreens in your exhibit at I.C.A. in Philadelphia the evening of a snow storm years ago. We spoke about them for a few minutes. They are impressive.

I ❤️ you

I find you a model of how I want to be in the world. Self expression is so courageous. You make it look so easy. I aspire to share my self with such ease.

I completely relate to feeling out of sorts and carrying on with wonder

Life is funny that way. I have loved your writing I have a small book shelf in my bedroom. It’s the first thing I look at each morning. It’s filled with my favorite most meaningful books and some photos and cards from loved ones. It’s an altar in a way to things I love and to feeling love. Your books are part of this shrine to life. Thank you for being on this platform. I’m so glad I found it. My niece turned me on to it.

I don’t know how or if we can share photos in a comment. If I figure it out I’ll send you a photo of my book shelf altar.

Have a great day. 🌺

Interesting Patti your words in this chapter are so close in meaning to quotes I searched for today in Thomas Hobbes Leviathan for my own next post which I haven't compiled as yet, and 'Poor Things' my son wanted us to go see for his birthday 15th Jan we still haven't got there. Orange is a good colour for a glasses case.
