Good night, Patti. Thank you for talking about nothing. It was soothing, as always. The photo of you and Nico made me tear up. That was the year I was born. I'm not one of those idealists who thinks I was born too late; I just wish I could have lived at all the times and experienced all the things.
Thank you Patti! I'm a published haiku poet here in St. Petersburg, FL. This Monday I'm giving a haiku workshop to African American 8th grade honor students. I am so excited to introduce them to Richard Wright! I'm doing handouts with his bio, his haikus and his books. You are the best!
Thanks so much, Patti. Love your surroundings. But have to let you know that this was about something -- it was about Richard Wright's wonderful poem. Good night......
Patti, I love your chats 'with' us! Your curious, intelligent, quick-thinking mind is in full display! please continue to share your life! xxoo hope you had a pleasant weekend!

Thank you for talking about nothing ... and showing us a part of your home and that wonderful picture (Jackson Pollock - I like his art so much). Sometimes "nothing" is so much more than talking about everything ... PS: The Poem is lovely. I didn´t know it before
I love M Train. Took me forever to read because I didn’t want it to end. Thank you for introducing me to to Richard Wright. Enjoy coming across poets I’ve never heard of. Sweet talking about nothings is inspiring as you give hope and dreams a chance.
Happily talking about nothing
I recently found a great original of Nico's hard to find 1968 Elektra LP "Marble Index".
Loved the photo you shared, I should have known your paths had crossed at some point.
