Wonderful photo at the top of the street in Bogota, I fly away immediately and I hear the sounds that resonate there ;)
I react less to it because I don't fully understand the photos in the exhibition, which I haven't been able to see and I don't know the "subject"; but the scenography seems superb, the screens, the layout... thank you for the travel notes that allow us to share and accompany you a little on your walks in this world ;) as folded up in your little suitcase !
I've been staying at home a lot lately because I'm taking care of my old dog (mentioned when I signed up) and that requires a lot of presence; I'm trying to make her last months as comfortable as possible...
i'm also wandering around substack, looking at writings and poems, and also those who give advice and support for illustration and reconnecting with creativity (but many have a paid subscription required to really use...) i understand that but so i have to content myself with "picking up" the beginnings of leads or ideas ;) i hope that these readings and glimpses of all these people who have taken the plunge will help me to find the courage/decision/energy ... to make my own attempts ...?
I saw you on Tuesday at the premiere of Correspondences at Teatro Colón and I still can't believe so much beauty, emotion and generosity. Thank you Patti for so much! I feel so full and satisfied with all the words and sounds that went deep in my heart. (I also got to see you briefly at the opening of the exhibition next day, I felt very happy standing a meter away from you.) Thank you!
Oh my ........ you brought me back to my decade living in South America. The long and winding roads to our lives. Subscribing now, looking forward to your observations in these new and strange times entering the world. I read your memoir, so powerful. A huge call our to this smaller tier of souls, living in all walks of life. Not just as artist, who shine their essense out like flowers reaching to the sky. Kind Regards, Phoeagdor.
I would love to know more about the exhibition and/or what your role with the Soundwalk Collective is. I looked them up online, but it's still a bit of a mystery....
Wow, it looks beautiful there - both the City and your exhibition! Corn cakes sound good!!! And good strong coffee..

Beautiful evocative photos. I want to sit on that street and drink coffee. I do it vicariously through you ! Thank you !
Will you follow Greta Thunberg's example, and make this your last plane trip? (I WISH)
That coffee looks delicious!

Patti,
You lost me when you proudly took the psy-op Covid injections. Really bad judgment to support the corrupt Med/Pharma/Government Complex.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos.
