Love Calla Lilies especially Robert’s photo, it’s beautiful. In the area l live in London many Greek Cypriot people planted Calla Lilies in their gardens and they pop up everywhere, such a delight to see.

Just saw Robert Mapplethorpe's photo Belly Button at Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Also sensual. His lilies are so voluptuous. I've loved them for many years. Thank you for this equally gorgeous poem Patti.

I love the lilies. Long ago in Aardvark Books in San Francisco, I found a worn copy of Robert Mapplethorpe’s book with photos of black men who had loved with his body and his camera. One young man was s holding a small handful of lilies.

Thanks for sharing more lilies. And for continuing to share your travels. We took a train from Helsinki to Tampere and I remember the white bark and golden and green leaves of the Birch trees. So beautiful
