Happy new year to you, Patti. I really cannot thank you enough for sharing your kind heart, loving words, and beautiful voice. I am writing this in February as I catch up with what I have missed. New Year held hope for a few weeks. I will not give up on love.

Thank you Patti. Just reading some of your posts on here from the last few weeks, from over here in England -- 10:49 AM, two woodpigeons near the window wondering if I will give them some more sultanas. Best wishes, nm.

Dear Patti, happy belated birthday wishes to you and a very happy new year. May all doors open to your every need and desire, "with gratitude and excitement", I love that. Thank you for being there, and being a part of my life, since I was 15 in 1979. Watching you at the Rockpalast concert on my cousin's television in Lorraine France, I fell in love with your energy, creativity, freedom of being. It was a moment of beauty, it happened, unexpected, like a window of opportunity that just opened. A buoy sent out to me from the airwaves and it had your name on it. That buoy wasn't just floating, it became an anchor for my own creativity and buoyancy in life. I believe that "gratitude and excitement" are the perfect words to express my feelings when you're in my thoughts, when I see you live (in your last concert in Dublin) and as I continue to listen to and discover all your music and words ever since that wonderful day. Humbly, from the bottom of my heart, I am sending you love.

Belated Happy Birthday and Happy New Year, dear Patti. I don’t understand what’s happened to our country and to the world, either. All I can say is that it’s going to be a long and hard four years. Those of us who have warm homes and food to eat and are not bleeding in the midst of warfare and are not down to our last pence have to find ways to go on fighting the forces (I’m naming no names … unnecessary) that are destroying us. Being in your community of people, Patti, is something that means the world to me and that I treasure. Thank you for all your work, for sharing your art and your heart and your mind with us. We are all the better for it. Peace and blessings and good health in 2025 are my wishes for you, and also to Jesse and Jackson and Lenny and all in your band, AND to everyone who shares this gracious community with me.

Love,

Vivian 🩵💙❤️💛🧡💚🤍💜🩶

One of my favorite quotes is, “if nothing, we have everything” I wandered into a random bar in SoHo, over 25 years ago and the bartender was this super cool looking women who had that written on her arm but in Sanskrit. I asked her what it meant and she told me. I never forgot it.

Thank you for vocalizing how so many of us feel. I am grateful for you and for this community that you’ve created. Happy New Year, Patti. Let’s keep pushing for peace. It’s never too late for that. ✌🏼

Happy New Year Patti and everybody! All the best for 2025 - many good moments! Such a lovely wish - something that makes us really grateful to be alive. I wish that for everyone too.

By the way, love the handkerchief - I think little gifts like that are just the best.

There has been a lot more rain here than snow and also a lot of fog but finally things have cleared up. I think horizon clearing up a bit overall for me too. Lots of work to do but more hopeful and grateful to be already where I am now :-)
