You two were so young and full of life together. I often wonder what Robert would be photographing now. Emotionally difficult and so fond to remember! Thank you.

Thank you reading us this despite the jet lag! And so beautiful, like a painting with words. I was in Edinburgh yesterday and came across the ice skating reverend, also a Robert.

hello dear hummingbird, Patti Smith,

I listened to your re-memory of the death of Robert M. surrounded by hummingbirds in Oaxaca, Mexico. You, querida, are my hummingbird. In Mesoamerican myth, hummingbirds fly back between the dead and living....and you are my dear hummingbird. Thank you so much for your soaring flights. to find more about hummingbirds (https://www.doaks.org/resources/online-exhibits/epidemics/epidemics-english/mesoamerican-herbals/hummingbird) and for some contemporary hummingbirds

I have a recording for you from Oaxaca, but I do not know how to upload it---oh well.

your fan, kathleen biddick

March 9 is my husband’s birthday - he too whisks me away when grieving. Moments of sadness are filled with inspiration.. such a beautiful passage you wrote. I loved your whole book, the audible version with you reading. You are precious.

Thank you, Patti. Your reading brought tears and smiles. I needed your sweet voice reminding me that duality - sorrow and happiness, death and childish laughter, the opening and the closing - is the wholeness of our lives. My goodness I'm happy I found you. ❤️
