I love that you give yourself space to be okay when things donβt go βperfectlyβ (whatever that is). When you give it to yourself, you give it to me/us. Thatβs an amazing gift.
This is a very strong and deep poem, the writing serves the meaning ! This is also like epic poetry ! It makes me think about The legend of centuries by our great poet Victor Hugo !
Hello my dear, how are you doing today? I hope great! I haven't been here for a while, but my love for you continues. My birthday is coming 06/11 and a few days later I'll going to Norway for my sister in law wedding! Im from Brazil and I saw that you'll be a concert on Dublin (Bono's hometown) but unfortunately the tickets are sold out. I come here to ask you humbly that If you can tell me any website that still have 2 tickets, please let me know. It will be heaven for me to see you live and it'll be the best birthday gift I ever had. Love you!ππππππ§π·
Hey Patti! You were a clue last night on Jeopardy Masters. They got the question right, which isn't surprising, and it was a blast seeing your face as the answer.
Your post triggered a memory of something I read a couple of years ago about the Japanese notion of wabi-sabi, which I wabi-sabically thought was about how the beauty of something is in its imperfection. Then I googled it, and apparently wabi-sabi is actually about impermanence and the transient nature of things. In any case, the beauty of your post is its imperfection and your poem is a work in motion. Thanks for this gift. We love β€οΈ ya Patti!
You are so adorable β¦ recovering the reading, finding a longer version, suddenly realizing itβs 98 lines. But it was so clever! Oxen of the Sun - one of the episodes of Joyceβs ULYSSES, at the Holles Street Maternity Hospital.
Wonderful & shocking! They really made up a word for 100 sacrifices??? They really needed a word for a short cut, because they did it so many times? Yikes! In spite of that, loved your 'comedy routine.' It was real and entertaining.
Your readings are pleasant and the simplicity and immediacy make them so human, such that we feel them very close to us, in communion with us! this is so authentic, so sincere that we can only continue to thank you and send you our warmest hugs.
Rai's third radio channel is broadcasting the final concerts of the Jazz festival from Turin. After listening to you I turned on the radio just in time for the start of the concert by Eric Mingus (son of the great Charlie) & Silvia Bolognesi βIs that Jazz, celebrating the influence of Gil Scott-Heronβ which I am listening to while writing this answer. I leave a couple of links regarding the festival.
See you soon dear Patti, an affectionate greeting to you and all the readers. Luca
Brilliant reading, I love the way you can laugh at your mistakes. Reminds me of when I saw you playing in London and you forgot the words and you said; β I donβt do nothing perfectβ¦.I only f**k up perfect.β
A wonderful reading, just loverly to hear your dear voice, thank you βΊοΈπ

I love the photo in the Italian cafΓ©! I love the china - I have a set of four resembling that style and design - so pretty for a piping hot tea or coffee and a little biscotti or toast. π
And apologies if I've misrepresented what is a really complex and lovely philosophy. I do not mean to make light of it.

Such a tribute to Roberto. You read it beautifully!

yeah, If dont fall down the bunnyhole first,
have gotten to contentment... thanks be, sz.
All the throng and wilderness in splitting hairs
overcome by magnitudes
of tender splendor wends and benders
a pirates dare...
Is really gist a matter of curiosity in the air
doubling down, on a tear
dust thou art and being there.
