Sigh. I recently retired from trying to help people in their dialectic between wanting to live and not wanting to live. I am tired and bruised and I hurt. I wonder If she worked with someone like me, but better than me, and how they felt when she finally entered the water. I’m hoping for a holy baptism of some kind. Thanks for listening.
Thank you, Patti. I had to listen six times through until I could unpack all of the words, nuances and meaning--and that's with a lifetime of working and loving words. What a passage. Peace & Light, wonder child~
Thank you, for bringing this darkness to light for me. Ya know , everyone has heard of Virginia Woolf, but not all know that she was a writer. Because of the movie (Liz) they know it or her as just a title. I got this from talking to different people about her. I don’t have anything by her, but so glad to have this. I am going to read her now. This is great Patti! Oh and I did get to see the “hours” over the weekend and in the beginning they show her going into the river. Have a great day! Ttyl
The reading was profound. The photo is entrancing as the leaves remind me of feathers woven into a Maori cloak to envelop her. The leaves are also like scales on a metallic fish or suit of armor. Virginia is protected and embraced by nature, here.
I have been missing the beautiful posts of Patti but here I am again. They always imbues me with present moment beauty.
I remember when I visited Monk's House and saw his summer desk, I felt very close in time.
Beautiful Patti, brilliant Virginia.
