It's not yet 7 am here, and I listened to this as I watched people walking over the mountain near where I live. It's work soon, meetings and boredom , so thank you for some early morning beauty before I start my day.

My mother, 95 years old, in good health and strong of mind, reads daily, doesn't spend time on FB or much internet, just the texts between family especially the videos of her first great grandson, 7 months old, who comes with her granddaughter, Genevieve, on to make lunch on Mondays and Fridays . My mother loves your offerings. I'll play this one for her. She's been writing poetry most of her life. So many poignant poems about her life, ones about bathing her own mother when she was in her 90s or about her avocado pit whose leaves reach to the light of her window. I would lover to purchase a signed copy of the new paperback for her. Maybe you know where to purchase it? Love always to you, Patti.

My dear friend Michael died on Tuesday this week - a truly good and joy-bringing human with a delightfully wicked chuckle I shall miss so much - and I am trying to take some quiet time before the working week recommences to let myself think of him and feel my grief at depth. Closing my eyes and listening to you Patti was restorative. Thank you.

Patti! I've started rereading M Train. It's raining here too. This piece is so lyrical, thank you for the reading.

Your voice is so soothing. I close my eyes and see those clouds. This is a perfect poem for a grey, damp day with the light already fading at 3:30 p.m. The transition from summer to autumn is often a difficult time for me and this week has been full of so much grief. Thank you for your words.

My husband of 33 years died 4 weeks ago and I have spent the last month rushing around, dealing with services, finances and finding a new job. It was wonderful to sit and listen to you this morning. It brought a few minutes of peace. Thank you ❤️

Thank you Patti for always providing a hand to hold on to and to rely on when life becomes difficult. And for saying “we’ll get through this year and start a new one” exactly at the right moment. Thank you for who you are and what you do. Love you and what you stand for with all my heart!

I saw a cloud once that looked like my beloved pet and the cloud had wings and it made me hopeful that my pet and I would meet again. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Patti.
