It really somehow has a timeless, enchanting feel about it wherever you go from the call of street merchants, to the dazzling sunshine on the water, to that unforgettable smell of freshly brewing espresso or Italian pastries sweetly emanating from the cafes. Wow! I would be getting zero work done with that view to gaze at. I love Venice. I first fell in love with it via the paintings of Canalletto and was not disappointed when I got to see the real thing. Many of the views are still the same as in the paintings.
