This is a very moving way to channel such despair. I hope the parents of Rachel found a bit of solace here. 🙏♥️

Patti, thank you for reminding us of all the important things, and of creating generous actions as a way of making sure nothing is in vain.

Very moving. I loved it. The only thing I can add is that peace must be a reality in one’s home and then carried out into the world.

Yes, we the people do have the power. And our triumphs occupy small spaces within our endless losses and failures even when we try our best to do what we think is right and just. The ability to persevere is one of the glories of all life stemming from the tiny apertures of the cellular to the hearty, lusty needs and appetites of us mammals to the clinical esoterica of AI.

Patti, thank you for reminding us of this tragic event. This world of ours is filled with so many tragedies that it’s hard to keep track of them anymore. This is a beautiful composition and your rendering of it makes it even more so. I love how you incorporated lyrics from “The People Have the Power” near the end of this recording. That is one of my favorite songs of all time. I particularly like the version you did several years ago in New York City for Choir, Choir, Choir. You may know that Michael Moore sent it to us over the last election cycle as one of our rallying songs.
