I wonder what that circle is on the left bush? Looks like a wreath or an aura.

Thank you for the care and value you show to us, and your dedicated communication with us and the train ride was so thoughtful, as it was really evocative and interesting to catch the snatches of conversation in the background as if we were there. Take care and keep well and my best wishes to all of you in these travels

You may have to slow down a little bit. I have since my recent healthcare problems. I’m way behind on my internet stuff and am trying to enjoy the lighter side of life. Caretaking pets, houses, walking on the beach. Today I had a zen moment watering my sisters plants and trees in her yard while she’s off on a vacay in Mexico. I rnjoy everyone of your stories but I think I’m weeks behind.Get well, Rock On!!

My beloved Capricorn sister, Patti, I have followed you since my teen years (18) with the release of Horses and appreciated your work, your writing, your voice: always kind, always humble, always speaking from love. I have been blessed to see you multiple times in my life. A couple stand out as particularly wonderful. A tiny place in San Francisco sometime after your return to the stage following the passing of your beloved, Fred. Your son debuted his guitar skills, you stated on that tour, with Smoke on the Water. It was such a thrill!! The other in Paris, 1996 Jim Morrison's birthday. I was there, didn't know you were... tried but failed to secure a ticket. Loving you as I do, I thought I'd crash the stage to see you and silently slipped by the guards in the back lot who were talking story and laughing it up, not paying close attention. There I was... a staircase before me. I hesitated... "where does it lead? onstage? backstage?...what if....?" fear set in, then I hear LOUD anxious voices shouting "Arrêt!!! Arrêt!!! Arrêt!!! Arrêt!!!" Cautious Capricorn fails me again... or saved me from what might have been something serious. In any case, I'd met a lovely young man from Wales, Neil, a doppelganger for Jim Morrison in leather pants and boots with long, dark wavy hair, a BIG Fan and Lover of You and the Doors and our Jimmy, in front of the theatre. He has escorted me to the back (we were all just hoping to hear you... even just a little bit), and we decided to head to Jim's old neighborhood and hung out with all the lovers and mourners of his early death. There were so many there, the people who lived there were struggling to get up the street in their vehicles. This late in the evening most were quite inebriated, crying and puking on the sidewalks, I decided to call it a night and thanked my young escort for his good company, then as I rounded the corner saw the Parisian Police decking themselves in battle gear with batons!! I ran back to warn Neil they were coming. He decided to leave with me. We walked the streets of Paris sharing more... found a bench, shared a drink, and then he escorted me to the home of my friend where I was staying. So polite and kind, this young 20 something and me at 40! Seems lifetimes ago... but I have a souvenir, framed and always gracing my walls, of the Concert Poster. I had seen them all over while walking the streets on during the Fête de la Musique. All inside shops with locked doors. Then to my surprise and delight I found one in perfect condition OUTSIDE on the window at its entrance. I carefully removed it, rolled it up gently then had it glued, matted and framed... forevermore a sign of my love for you and Paris. It's with me in Hawai'i now! 28 years later and still fresh! Blessings be, today and everyday. Aloha

TO PATTI SMITH MY GODDESS

behind those mountains you are there,

above everything and down afterwards, you wait for me

in this early autumn.

Your most precious weapon, loaded

and tomorrow ready to make bursts of music

crossing my mind and at the same time my heart.

I'm dying to be there, to drink his shuffle,

if you have to put a lot of everything on it, folded as you said

and heaven on Earth.

I love this spoken German, discussing cities. Erfurt - ‚big churches, very close together.‘ 😊 That made me smile. I always loved riding the train in Germany. The rattling along the tracks so soothing. The landscape blurred in passing. This is a very calming clip.
