I met Michael once at the Sundance film festival years ago he was buying sneakers for my friends Cheryl Dunye and her crew I guess for some movie he was involved with, at a mall but I was so tongue tied I blurted out something stupid. Can’t remember what but I was embarrassed afterwords.

You were transformative as usual. Shamanic, even. This was probably at least the 20th or more show I’ve seen, one of the best! and all 5 of you were so on! The guitars were all weaving magic. The band sounded better than I’ve ever heard. So good to see Lenny, JD, and Tony all still together, and Jackson is just the amazing icing on the cake! You just kept all my faves coming, from the minute opening with Barefoot, and SPELL! And pissing in a River, oh my. My friends had never seen you before so now thanks, they know what I’m talking about. Thank you for being you! Thank you for reminding us we all have the power, we just need to use it.
