Hi Patti, I teach and have the luck to have students from all over the world. Some of them are from differing sides of current conflicts and I can honestly say they show us how to be - they are friends and every day demonstrate what we could be. Their kindness is one to make and break a heart daily. Thank you for saying what you have x

thank you so much, Patti. I'll certainly take half-magic and a gift for the future...there seem to be a lot of pebbles in a lot of shoes these days, but there is some hope there perhaps...??

Love ❤️ your phrase “a gift for the future”

for a treasured, breaking-apart book with all your notations that you put away - and buy a new reading copy! I do that, too.

"It isn't the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it's the pebble in your shoe." this was a powerful quote for me to sit with. I asked myself, what is the pebble that I'm still keeping in my shoe? Thank you for this prompt. 💖

I need full-on magic now with my life the way it is, but I’ll take half magic, I will take any snippet of magic I can get. 2024 is off to a rocky start. Hopefully it gets better. Thank God I have plans to be traveling during the Fall. Anyway, thanks for your positive outlook on life, Patti! I Where do I stand? I stand with children(absolutely) and anything that is innocent in this world: the animals(including most human beings) trees, flowers, vegetables/fruits, weeds, the soil—-Earth; all innocence which is most of the planet. Here is to magical love, laughter and books, because without books humankind would not survive, and without a sense of humor I don’t know what. Wishing everybody beautiful days to come and I wish it twice*~~*

It’s was great talking to you again tonight Patti. I always feel like, after listening to you, that we’ve talked with each other; not that I’ve been talked to, but that we’ve talked with each other. It’s not half magic. It’s full magic. And I wish for it to be so each time we talk - two times. ♥️

So cool to know how you feel about Ali. He was "somethin' else", wasn't he? I actually felt a bit of jealousy reading that you stood next to him in an elevator!
