So I am longing for your yesterday's "See you tonigtht"...

By the way - today I am so happy about the Nobel Prize for Literature decition: not Murakami Haruki (who is definitely also worthy of the award!), but Han Kang, the South Korean author who is able to convey brutality and tenderness in such a brilliant way

Good to know your safe home and lovely tribute from Jesse. John Lennon was such a special man and l think of him often especially in times of trouble and war and suffering. What would he be doing now? I like to think he would be protesting and taking on the politicians with his wonderful music and brilliant lyrics. Happy Birthday John, Sean, Todd and Noel. Much love from London 🙏

Thanks so much for this.

I was really moved by Jesse's performance. On this tumultuous night of hurricanes and tornadoes, it was most welcome.

Wishing you a good night and sweet dreams from Detroit.

Dear Patti,

Your daughter Jesse is such a beautiful human being, just watching her sing this is so very moving. thank you for sharing it with us. I love her voice and when everyone joins her, it's pure joy.

It's a week of so many things, so many moving things, good moving and bad moving. John Lennon shines in on us from afar with his poetry and his music, it pulls the heart strings. I hope your home rhythm embraces you and much as we embrace you.

Love, Claire
