thanks again patti - I keep coming back to Rumi's astoundingly deep wisdom that helps navigate these crazy times - his drunkenness on divine love is so intoxicating. I'm reading The Sufi Path of Love right now. Love to all, may we all drink the medicine of divine drunkeness and thank you as always Patti for sharing your beautiful wise heart
So lovely to listen to you after seeing you & your son / your band perform in the beautiful Arènes de Nimes earlier this summer / not having seen you since that amazing day when I was only 17 back in 1978 at The Odeon Edinburgh Scotland when I hustled a guy with long hair to please roll me a big joint (I didn't smoke puff yet) which after you read Babel to a handful of us sitting crosslegged at your feet I took great pleasure in offering you that Joint! 😉 then later the same night I was very close to the stage while you performed what was no doubt the EASTER set bearing in mind I was already well familiar with your first two albums /// ps - I got some great footage of you at Nimes / including the entire hommage you paid to Kurt then sang Smells like
. . . You look beautiful there in Pioneertown Patti - I really enjoyed listening to that. Bisous depuis La Camargue ou je vie depuis presque 30 ans! Ça change d'Édimbourg! 🙂🙃😉😘🥰😍
Listening to you reciting Rumi’s beautiful poem I realized I’m getting interested in poetry more and more. It enriches my experience of life. Thank you 🙋♀️
I am catching up on old posts but wanted to say I remember when I was a kid I could see the Milky Way so clearly, I felt like I could touch the stars. Now light pollution makes it impossible.
apparently it was a rare comet you saw Patti ~ it was in the news and seein in Hawaii and SW usa - reminds me of "When the stars threw down their spears,".. and water'd heaven with their tears,
Oh dear Patti. Our climate is changing yes, due to our own actions but also and very importantly, it is due to engineered corruption. Much love to you.
so good to hear your stories, every moment has some magic about it...just keeps one going so we don't lose the enchantment...

(Is that a Logan Maxwell Hagege painting?)
Alanna from Selling Sunset owns that place with her husband. I only know that from watching it. Haha.
Thank you so much for sharing your tribute to Kris Kristofferson, a comet/shooting tale and Rumi, too!
What a wonderful place to write. Thank you for the poem.

You are very nice.
Love to hear your travel tales Patti.
Thank you for always tucking us into your pocket and taking us with you. Still smiling from seeing you in Oxford … a fabulous gig🙏🏼✨♥️
