So well said about the atmosphere of the place - lots of activity but also somehow very calm. I was there in January 2011. So beautiful and I haven't been since. So many little green places around everywhere even in winter. The light is special! Truly amazing for photography. I shot about 4 or 5 film rolls in about a week.... I thought I had lost one of them but then about a year later found it in a jacket pocket!
Maybe I can go this year and see the soundwalk collective exhibition :-)

We were in Lisbon last December, and the trees lining the main boulevard were strung with beautiful lights in the shape of hearts. It was very exciting to be riding along below them. This reminds me of Shusaku Endo's "Silence".Christianity preached that people could die and be happy in the afterlife, and gave relief to the poor and needy.
