Patti, I was at the Wiltern show on Sept. 7th!! I was so happy to be there. It was my first big outing since I had a complete left hip replacement on July 18th. Thank you for the fabulous concert. You were so amazing!! I was dancing in my chair the entire night and singing, too. My friend and I had seats in the Loge (upstairs). The staff at the Wiltern were so kind and attentive. There was no elevator and I couldn’t climb stairs yet, so they put us up front on the right side (literally first row)! I was ecstatic. I love you. ♥️

But I’d have to drive there, I here Elvis Costello is playing, 8 stages hidden In Golden Gate Park! Maybe not hidden but hello that’s one of the best parks to play in America if not the world. I may go if you’re playing or not.

Also your Patti Smith and Band poster from The Fillmore 1998 concert found its way to me out of the blue. It's framed in mint condition. It will be on my wall of inspiration along with Frida Kahlo, Bob Dylan, and R.E.M.
Please do as long a ramble at night as you feel like doing! I could listen for hours to you, as I am mesmerized by Cairo's tail flipping back and forth around your hand...
