Sadly I just thought if this, but I hope you have a chance to read this before your concert at St Paul’s. If you do not know this, which I doubt, but ask then to take you on a tour of the Triforium. The library is beautiful and they have one of the only 3 Tindal bibles. The Great Model is fantastic and something they don’t do on the normal triforium tour is go to the storage area. It is a tiny path of stones with a very low ceiling, but once on the storage area there is a door that goes out onto the cathedral just above the quire stalls. I spent 15 years as the conservator there and was privilege to open that door and hear some of the most beautiful and profound music while working. I will have to be on the floor at your concert but it’s very special! Ask to go there, it’s very special . Thank you for sharing the film your lovely film!

Andalusia is the birthplace of flamenco.

Here is a famous scene from the flamenco film "Duende y misterio del flamenco", which won a special prize at the 1952 Cannes Film Festival, where the dancer dance without spilling the sherry on the table.

I echo the sentiments of everyone here: Thank you for sharing the conclusion of this particular journey, Patti.

At the home-turned-exhibition center of a recently passed Taiwanese artist, 林文雄 Lin Wen-shung, carved into the stone before the front door are these words: 在未來 我們會遇見過去 (Zài wèilái wǒmen huì yùjiàn guòqù) -- "In the future, we will meet the past."

So it is, so it is. How much better then to meet the past with open eyes, open arms, and open heart.

PS If you ever come to Taiwan, the exhibition (Garden91) is well worth visiting. Just from the little I came to know about him, Lin Wen-shung seems very much a kindred spirit.

Hi Lisa,

I'll be honest, I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean that your heart hurts in relation to thoughts of the past and future? That you feel physically unwell? If so, I hope you're feeling better at present or can find some relief whether through rest, meditation, friendship or medical attention.

Take care and be well!

I suddenly felt remiss in not saying that the film was beautifully made by Frieder Schlaich. Much thanks to his keen eye and visual storytelling to accompany your own.
