Saw Avedon’s exhibit in Milano last November next to the Duomo! Stunning. His oeuvre takes us beyond, among the scintillent stars of talent … so privileged we are. And you, soo precious / thank you Patti for sharing so much - Merci !
Thank you for sharing the shots from the opening. I'm looking forward to seeing it this coming weekend with My daughter, for Mothers' Day! He's one of my favorite photographers. Your portrait is beautiful; I'd never seen it before, though I had seen Beckett's.
Thank you for sharing these photos from the show. When I lived in Berkeley (late 70s/early 80s), there was a big Avedon show. When I say big, there were many photos, but the prints were enormous, much larger than life. His portraits seem to tell the story of that life's moment of the subject.
Oh, I guess Mr. Sebring took that one. I recall that you and Mr Stipe and your new shirt ere going out together for the Avedon opening.
Your double portrait is lovely. Did Michael take it?
Thank you so much for the pictures... such a wonderful and amazing privilege to see you with these.
