Good morning from Athens. Lat night there was a huge crescent moon. I awoke at dawn and saw the Acropolis in the distance. At first I didn’t know where I was. This morning I wrote and had coffee, cucumbers, prunes, beans and a roll of yellow grain, which I saved and brought back to my room.
I am performing with Soundwalk Collective for two nights at the Onassis Stegi in Athens, which is a short walk from the hotel. I am still getting on track here, I will take more pictures but here is a few.
Later I will prepare The Throw from the Coral Sea for my Subscribers. But for now, good morning to all from the spectacular clouds and the Aegean Sea.
Thanks for checking in. For one reason or another, I can't get to sleep tonight. Your post came as a welcome respite when I got up and sat in my living room to read. Those clouds are extraordinary and the Acropolis reminds us how time can move in a spiral, the past swirled into the present. It's like a photograph of history.
I'll read a chapter of my book and try one more time to sleep. Thanks again, Patti, and all those who comment here. You made a long night much more bearable.
I love your way of letting us participate in your experiences, your travels, even with small simple signs, like a food specialty... Thank you for the beautiful photos of the places that you never fail to give us. Happy continuation of the trip.
We love you so much dear Patti and we hug you affectionately.
