I love how you talk (without INGs) :-)

Very much behind again because I was away seeing family and travelling and the back at work some difficulties..

Love that it’s absent minded professor - in german we have the “zerstreute/r Professor” phrase for this.

I also don’t drive for similar weird brain reasons, not very good with my hands and I can’t do so many things at once. Very glad to have such good company!! It’s a shame sometimes (going to beautiful rural areas is a lot more tricky) but then it’s a lot better for the environment.

Just watched this and the little trio video (with Lenny Kaye and Cairo) and it’s a good start to the day!!

Shall be properly catching up soon. More work with a deadline on the 15th now..

We don’t want you to talk any other way! In a world of so much “merde,” you are so, so real and kind and good. No “ing” endings needed! 💜

You are such a delight to sit with…thank you from the bottom of

my heart. I am caregiving my sister and father along with my son, Jesse. We’re going thru some mighty challenging times, but I have found rest and relief just sitting and listening to you. Thank you for sharing yourself with all of us, you are truly a gift!

Patti, if you spoke any differently due to the snobbery of those who speak "proper" English you would not be yourself... and anytime we are not being ourselves we can't be free. I was brought up by an English teacher who, along with the other English teachers, put down the gym teachers because they weren't seen as intellectual. Fuck that. No offense to my good mother, but really - who is to say who is wise and intelligent? English, someone reminded me, is a living language. We kill it trying to fit ourselves into some proper form of it... just my two cents. If you started doing your ings all the time, I'd so miss your own beautiful and perfect English...

I like untuned guitars with interesting bends and blips. I like what you're singing.

I'm looking at my own untuned guitar curious how untuned it is and what sounds I can bend out of it. I've named my guitar Vladimir. It's about time I give him some attention. Thank you ever so for the inspo!

I was thinking, "If I was a neighbor, I could come and tune the guitar..." but, of course, you've got Lenny Kaye to help! (It actually sounded like it might have been in an open tuning to me).

Wait, they wanted you to go back and talk like someone else? That's messed up. I love your accent. It makes you who you are. And thank you for your passion and generosity. It's wonderful to spend time with you.
