I’m never going to quite get over sitting in bed and watching Patti Smith and Lenny Kaye casually sing a song from Patti’s house, with her cat. I know we don’t have flying cars and that internet has done a lot of harm, but this is truly its highest and best use

Awww so cute pussy cat 🐈

Just got round to watching this made my afternoon after feeling very burnt out from work.

So I am in my hermit mode with some John Coltrane lemon and ginger tea.

I only in the past 5 years got into your music I found out about you through Jim Carol the basketball diaries is one of my favourite films and I love his books and music but at 15 I was a wreck head rock n roll hairdresser and dislexic no google in 95 and I found looking up things as reading hard work I still do but google has made now easy.

Love your cover off Gloria what a great classic song your cover and the doors I love ❤️

I love at the end of this you say to your pal where is the red thing that’s what I am like with technology 😂😂😂 I struggle with it all.

When I lived in Berlin I was in the library and seen a dvd film about your friend Robert Mapplethope I did not know about him or his work I really enjoyed the film and his work is amazing and you both lived in the Chelsea hotel that must off been a great experience

Thank you for that impromptu very intimate feeling concert! Great seeing Lenny there too. Love you both. And love that song so much, too; it's always been one of my top favorites. We should all dance barefoot more often! <3

What a nice treat! Thank you. I just learned that Lenny Kay collaborated on a book about Waylon Jennings (Waylon: An Autobiography). I got to visit Waylon's hometown last year and met his brother, James. What a delightful experience. James was so kind and welcoming. He chatted with us and told the old stories for almost two hours.

I'm a week late in getting to this, but ... The sweetly tuning, sweet-smiling Lenny ... Patti and he WORKED hundreds of hours in practice. and performance to bring "Gloria" and "Hey Joe" and ... into ecstatic but tight Art when the 1970s and New York City broke into something new. Lenny also is author of a very worthwhile book centered Russ Colombo, You Call It Madness: The Sensuous Song of the Croon.
