Oh my god, this was such a gift, Patti. I loved that QuestLove’s first question was ‘What did you mean when you said “I don’t fuck much with the past, but I fuck plenty with the future?”’ Your answer was about how our dreams for the future, especially when we are young and fueled by a bit of hubris, are never what happens exactly, but they are still important. Wisdom. The present. But I can be back in 1975 in an nanosecond. I hear your voice so clearly as you fuck with the future, as you claim it!! It is a kind of time traveling and I can’t resist.

Patti, I just came home from being at a party. I had a bit of a weird experience there. Good weird not bad. Hearing voice in this message settled my thoughts. ❤️

This is such a warm and wonderful interview. I haven’t painted anything or felt motivated to do so for a long time for many reasons but I am taking such a lot of inspiration and positivity from this Patti so heartfelt thanks !Today is a new day ! 🌹❤️

I so enjoyed this interview and really appreciate your sharing it with all of us. It is hard to put into words, the spirit-uplift you always bring forth again and again. I will search for a better word to describe that feeling... maybe in The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows ( which is not just about sorrows). Thank you for your generosity, thoughtfulness and heartfullness.

It's important to take time with matters of the heart. The process of writing is a process of healing. Reading 'Just Kids' made me feel alive and inspired. Thank you, Patti & Robert

"May I take you away

from the evils of today

to the dreams of tomorrow?

You know that Heaven

has no sorrow.

We know that Heaven

has no tomorrow.

Hear the sound of the magic drums...

Hearts are beating for the Sun,

Sending Evil on the run.

Now watch the wind..."
