Hello everyone,
I am still on the road without audio so am sending a brief note and some snapshots of the exhibition in Sarasota in homage to Robert Mapplethorpe’s flowers, and our enduring friendship. It’s a beguiling exhibition, with audio of Just Kids, poetry and music and the birds singing and lightly swirling breeze as a backdrop. This week-end I will update Melting audio and send a new poem for my subscribers. A beautiful full moon last night that kept me mentally active all night, but all is well.
Thank you all, I will be back this weekend….Look up at the moon tonight.

This exhibit is definitely worth hopping on a plane to see, especially for those who’ve never been to the Selby. Thé gossamer portraits of Patti in the entrance hall of the Selby’s Paine House are phenomenal. I’ve spent the winter painting arrangements of flowers prepared by the Selby staff, emulating Mapplethorpe’s photos in the gallery of the Paine House. Sorry I have to leave before Patti revisits!
