I come back to this song on an early Monday morn when work would begin in the days when I could count on my steps and the thoughts in my head. I come to this song to lift me to sing, to bring me around again.

This resurgence of energy is taking me into tears and joy. I loved this song and it's truth. It's good to be accompanied by good heart medicine songs as we reemerge. I'll look forwards to hearing which song was the right one . with warmth xxx

I love Tanita Tikaram. I had forgotten about her for years and maybe 6mos. ago she came on autoplay - some streaming service (Spotify or YouTube?) based on my current listening/watching - and for once I was thankful for that Big Tech Brother algorithm. I was immediately transported to a different time in my life. Yes, olfactory memory retrieval is intense (Moroccan Mint Tea) and works on a more primal level. But music is similarly powerful and I love that it can move you, both by surprise and by choice.

PS I'm still thinking on which cover song but I'll let you know!🖤

Patti, this video reminds me when I lived and worked in Paris. I loved the forced slowness of the escalator... Merci encore pour ces mots et cette chanson !
