Thanks as always, Patti, and everyone. I was fortunate to have a bit of time to myself on Christmas. Unlike most of you here, Christmas is still a work and school day here, so my son was in school and my wife was off visiting a friend for the day. Wednesday just happened to be my usual day off. (It’s a bit weird bundling a kid off to school just after opening presents, but … that’s life here.)
Anyway, it’s hard sometimes finding that place within where there is calm and solace. Today’s been one of those difficult days, but it’s heartening to read everyone’s expressions of gratitude, joy, hope, fortitude, and so on. I’ll just take a little bit with me and come back when I have more to share in return.
All the best, Patti, and everyone. The new year comes, the eternal return, and we will meet each other there. Cheers!
I took such deep breath from this, Patti. We often steer away from doing what we need to do for ourselves, in our own space, with our own heartbeat as companion. Enjoy taking in your own rhythm. Merry Christmas!
What a perfect little tree. It looks as if it just organically grew there. Merry Christmas, Patti. Thank you for the multitude of gifts you bring to this group, this “sanctuary” as someone wrote above.
Dear Patti, thank you for your Christmas Greetings, your day sounds lovely I’m pleased that you did the things that you wanted to do.
Mine was very nice too, I spent it at home with my friend, cooking and eating, laughing, phoning family members, playing random quiz games and washing up.
I did some writing too with my new fountain pen, it was one of my Christmas presents. Now I can write my book with flair and flamboyance, because that’s how fountain pens make me feel, I love the way the nib and ink glides so smoothly across the page.
I was a bit sad this Christmas though and tried to avoid the news.
I am so thankful for being at home, in the warm, safe with the people I love and also for so many other things.
It’s strange writing to Patti when I’m also writing for anyone else on here.
Merry Christmas to everyone, thank you so much for being so welcoming, interesting and lovely. X
New to Substack and loved finding that you are writing here.
Patti, I use this platform because of you. Lots of love

I hope the holiday season is peaceful and what you need it to be.
Thank You 💕 happy Christmas prophet 💖
I was just finishing Woolgathering as I read this post at exactly midnight on Dec 30. It’s already your birthday where I am. Happy birthday, Patti.
