Today is traditionally a day of gratitude. However we negotiate its historic account, that is the essence. A day to set aside and reexamine our own sense of appreciation for what we have, what we have been given, and our own achievements.
I hope everyone is faring well and readying themselves for a new year. This last stretch gives us an opportunity to finish certain tasks, resolve certain issues, and shed what must be shed as we enter 2024. I know from my own experience that our well- meaning plans and the motivation and energy to see them through sometimes diminish, but we can do it, we still have time to clear the decks.
In any event, may all be well. I will return, coffee in hand….
