Marine
The sonorous Ocean
Throbs beneath the eye
Of moon in sky,
And throbs again
While a lightning-flash,
Brutal, sinister,
Splits burnished clouds
In a long zig-zag flash
And every wave bounds,
Convulsively leaps
Down the reefs,
Flows, ebbs, glows,
sounds,
And, high over the sea,
Where hurricanes wander,
There roars thunder,
Formidable thunder.
