Clean up report
I'm making progress
Clearing away piles of books and sentimental debris I found forgotten things: the genesis of a poem, my favorite handkerchief, 130 Euros, a picture of dear departed Hans Hurch, Tom Verlaine’s copy of The Lazy ones and my lost bracelet.
Tomorrow I will keep going. It’s late, been raining for hours, time to turn in.
Goodnight and when you wake, good morning.

And we in Turkey are doing spring cleaning.
12 years after the Gezi protests, we are on the streets again, this time more determined.
For 23 years, our only presidential candidate who stood against the man who persecuted us is in Silivri Prison on baseless allegations, like other leaders who opposed him.
You may have come across it, but university students are in prison as captives of the state in very bad conditions, even though there is no decision against them.
We are fighting against all those who support this attitude of the state, a big boycott was called for.
I don't know if this is too much to ask, but can you help us to make our voices heard?
Wow, Patti; What a lot of work you did! It looks fantastic. Thank you for showing us! What is the round object on the photograph of Hans H? I’m intrigued by the book about Elves and Fairies that is on the chair. I don’t recall your showing us that but maybe you have. If not, can we see it sometime? I love books like that.
I wish you could come uptown and help me clean up my books and papers and photographs of trees and angels. You set a fine and inspiring example.
Wishing you - and everyone - a restful night. You’ve earned it for a job well and thoroughly done.
With warmth and affection,
Robin
