Patti, I stumbled on to one these close encounter conversations on the subject of your favorite poems (I believe) And I wanted to bookmark it but was distracted and now it is gone? Are your talks archived? I’m new at this substack app.
I understand your sadness, I like the skylight. You look lovely as usual. Thank you for your perseverance. You are a strong woman. We are so fortunate to know you here.
Greetings Patti. I am a poet, screen and playwright, as well as a fiction writer, living in Hazel Park, Michigan. I look forward to hearing your postings. Bright Blessings be upon you and your family. I STILL love to listen to your older recordings. Be well
Hello back - from Lake Tahoe, California! Just finished (loved) Just Kids...THANK YOU for being there for Sandy Hook, they were just kids, stolen lives. We all thought that must be the turning point yet here we are. Bless their sweet souls always.
May good inspiration shower upon you. Many blessings! =) and big Hug! loved the bit about self examination ... something that seems to be lacking in the world but is so essential ... I am convinced that a sincere practice of self examination/reflection would lower the rate of violence! because fundamentally violence is a symptom of frustration (a lack of clarity and means) which can be greatly reduced by self examination due to the clarity it brings on many levels. and if we all help each other a bit, we should be in good shape!
Thank you Patti for you lovely words. I couldn't help but return the Hello.. Just like a smile, Sharing the love. Have you herd about the Just sat Hello guy in the UK, Duncan Raban, He is amazing, doing what everyone should do. He talks to strangers, engages and finds out some amazing people and their stories..
I love his outlook and makes me feel better knowing I'm not on my own in knowing its good to talk. You never know who you're sharing space with if you don't talk to others around you xx
I wish you well in all you do. X
Love Mary x
I had to list to you before bed . I don't always get chance.. Goodnight xx
Bon voyage, chère Patti!
Have a good Trip, dear Pattinson. 🥰
