I'm listening to this again in the middle of June. I got myself copies of the Wyatt Mason translations. While reading this poem (Sensation) and other poems of Rimbaud's, translated by Mason and others, I like to hear them in my own head with a similar cadence and feel to how you bring poetry to life. The poem's soul then shines forth.

I made the pilgrimage to Charleville and went on a tour with the Association Internationale des amis de Rimbaud. The tour was in French so I mostly have no idea what they said, but it was still fantastic 😍 And my Airbnb host told me about the farmhouse in Roche and drove me (and my mom) to see it.
