The black box

In The Melting I mourn the inability to travel freely. I have loved incorporating work and travel, and in the last two decades have taken countless Polaroids in many beloved cities. I had planned to exhibit one hundred of them in 2020, which seemed to me the year of perfect vision. These plans were indefinitely waylaid by the pandemic. I thought to open the black boxes and share a city image with my subscribers each Friday, corresponding with Tuesday’s The Melting post. I am hoping they will enrich the reading experience. The first few images will be open to all. Pictured is the Master box, and a glimpse of its contents. Much gratitude to my subscribers and all who have signed up for free Thursday posts.
